I love insurance. I can’t really explain it. I am deeply passionate about working with our clients to help them protect what they find valuable or important.
Buying insurance involves entering into a legal contract with an insurance company. When you pay your premiums, you expect certain claims to be covered. Insurance policies are complex and I enjoy working through policy language to help each client better understand their coverage. It is important to me that I understand what you want your insurance policy to do, not just what I think it should do.
I have earned my Certified Risk Management (CRM) designation and my Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. I also hold a Surplus Lines License.
I was born and raised in Plymouth, Minnesota, attended school in Wayzata and college at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology, with a Certificate in Chemical Dependency Counseling and Sign Language. My husband Chad and I live in Minnetrista, and enjoy seeing horses on our block and cows across the street.
We have four kids ages 4-14 that keep us young; Alex, Kyle, Anna and Kali. We are active in their activities; soccer, basketball, dance, gymnastics, scouting and church. I am a co-den leader with our Cub Scout Pack 297 and often volunteer for kids school functions, church events and Girl Scout activities. I also provide guardian and conservatorship care for my mother who is in a memory care facility. This experience has made me a strong advocate of Long Term Care Insurance solutions.
